WHERE THE BATTLE RAGES

“The battle to stop pro-homosexual legal activism is one of the most important fights in American history.” declares Matthew Staver, Founder and Chairman, Liberty Counsel.

Francis Schaeffer points out in his book, “The God Who is There,” that the Christian must resist the spirit of the world in the form it takes in his own generation.  If he does not do this he is not resisting the spirit of the world at all.  Schaeffer further quotes Martin Luther on the subject, “If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the truth except precisely that little point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Christ.  Where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is proved, and to be steady on all the battlefield besides is mere flight and disgrace if he flinches at that point.”

At this time in America’s history, the Battle seems to be raging everywhere – on all sides – on all fronts.  Unfortunately that’s an accurate assessment.  As far back as the 1950’s, the Communist Agenda had well-stated, very clear goals for destroying America from the inside out, using every area of society and life.  Promotion of homosexuality and the disintegration of the American Christian family are only two of them.

Forty-five of these goals were published in a book by W. Cleon Skousen, 1958, titled “The Naked Communist.”

• Goal #26: “Present homo-sexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity as ‘normal, natural, and healthy.’”
• Goal #25:  “Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.”
• Goal #39:  “Dominate the psychiatric profession and use health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.”
• Goal #41:  Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents.  Attribute prejudices mental blocks, and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.”

The remainder of the 45 goals is just as chilling and are being accomplished at an astonishing rate, as evidenced on our nightly news broadcasts.

The “Change Therapy” Law (SB1172) in California prohibiting counselors from seeking to diminish or eliminate unwanted same-sex attractions, behavior, or identity currently being challenged is a case in point.

The battle is raging against our families, faith, culture, education, morals and values, which are the foundation stones for our society.

But take heart, America, “When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. (Isaiah 59:19)

And We, the People, who are called by God’s name will rise up against the enemy with a standard of Truth and we will fight for our children and grandchildren and for this land we love.
